In spite of the cold weather, the ERC Outreach Workshops on January 28 were successful! The Educational Resources Center sponsored 14 workshops held at the Ras Beirut campus and attended by 184 teachers from 53 private and public schools around Lebanon. The workshops, conducted in the three languages covered math, educational technology, art, library science, languages, drama, visible thinking, assessment, and teaching methodologies. Participating teachers found the information helpful as they explored new educational trends, creative teaching strategies, and tools, as well as new approaches and practical applications to use with their students. Teachers found the activities very helpful when applying them to classroom situations to motivate their students and create positive learning environments.
