Dear IC Parents,
It has just come to my attention that a false, fabricated whatsapp message is being circulated announcing that school will be closed on Tuesday due to the strike being extended. THIS WAS NOT SENT FROM THE SCHOOL OR FROM ME, AS PRESIDENT OF IC. Although there is talk of the strike being extended, as of this moment, I have received no notice from the IC Teacher’s Association of their intention not to conduct classes tomorrow. The only legitimate notification of school closure will be posted on Moodle, IC’s web site, and sent via email/SMS directly from IC and the President’s Office. Please disregard any other sources. IC does not use whatsapp to communicate such information to the parent community.
If there is any disruption or cancelation of classes, parents will receive an email/SMS message from the President’s office that can be confirmed by notices on Moodle and IC’s web site.
