| Dear members of our IC community, Following yesterday's announcement by the Minister of Education and the COVID-19 committee, please find below the modified calendar for IC's switch from online learning to hybrid classes. Please note that since we do not have the same levels at Ain Aar and Ras Beirut and we are also still finishing repairing the damages caused by the blast on the Ras Beirut campus, these dates will be slightly different on our two campuses. Ain Aar campus transition to hybrid: October 12 6th through 9th grades / 6ème à 3ème Nursery / petite section classes October 13 1st through 5th grades / CP au CM2 October 19 KG1 and 2 / moyenne et grande sections Ras Beirut campus transition to hybrid: October 12 Secondary School October 13 Middle school / Complémentaire October 14 Elementary school / Elémentaire Week of October 19 Preschool / Maternelle. Please note that the preschool office will send you a detailed calendar for that week at a later date. Furthermore, you will receive over the weekend a link with a "back-to-the-campus guide" that IC created. It has been designed for everyone to be aware of the procedures put in place to ensure that our campuses will be as safe a learning and teaching environment as possible. It takes into account the latest international and national standards developed for schools in Lebanon and the rest of the world. This guide will be posted on IC's website and will be updated regularly as the standards and the situation in Lebanon keep evolving. Finally, Each school will send you a more detailed schedule as well as guidelines specifically developed for their buildings and schools. Although we are living through unsettling and challenging times, I know that, as it has always been the case in the past, together we will rise to the occasion and our IC community will shine once again!
